Absolutely! We prefer you to visit us beforehand. This gives you the opportunity to meet us and see where your dog will be staying and for us to find out more about the best way to care for them during their stay.  You just need to phone to arrange a mutually convenient time to visit.

You must bring an up-to-date vaccination certificate, with kennel cough included. You can bring your own food if you want (slightly reduced rate if you do). You can also bring their bedding – recommended to make them feel more at home – but we can provide both food and bedding.

Generally speaking we do not ask for deposits.  However, during very busy periods – Easter, summer holidays and October – we may ask for a small deposit to secure your booking.

We take the dogs out for a walk first thing in the morning.  If appropriate we can take 3 or 4 at a time so they get a good run about together and the chance to socialise and play. We then give them breakfast. We take them out again in the late afternoon, give them their evening meal and then settle them down for the night – with dentastix, treats or other chews!

Our drop off and pick up times are between 9am - 10am or 4pm - 5pm. However, if you cannot make these times , we will try to be flexible – as long as we know when to expect you. We don’t want to be out with the dogs when you arrive!

Whether it’s pills or suspension, given with food or hidden in cheese, we can administer your dog’s medication. 

We have an excellent relationship with our local vet who we turn to if we have concerns about any dog. We also ask you who your vet is and can contact them if appropriate.

Our kennels are big enough to accommodate two large dogs. They can sleep in the same bed, or if you prefer, we can give them separate beds.

Of course, that’s no problem.
